Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was back in court on Thursday, where his lawyers argued that a statute used to convict him earlier this year on prostitution charges doesn’t apply. The attempt to get a new trial, shave off prison time or a possible acquittal comes just a week ahead of his sentencing, slated for Friday, Oct. 3.
