Sitting down with ET’s Denny Directo, Dolly Parton reflects on the lessons she’s learned about grief after the death of her beloved husband, Carl Dean, in hopes her words might bring comfort to Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson, who are mourning the loss of Brandon Blackstock. Reba was his step-mother, married to his father, Narvel Blackstock, from 1989 until 2015. Kelly was married to him from 2013 until 2022. He died Thursday at the age of 48 after a private battle with skin cancer.
