In what many fans are calling a bold and refreshing twist on the iconic spy franchise, speculation is swirling online that Will Smith could be in the running to portray James Bond in the next installment of the long-running series.
While neither Eon Productions nor Amazon MGM Studios have made any statements regarding casting for Bond 26, fan forums and concept trailers have exploded with excitement over the idea of Smith stepping into the tuxedo and wielding the Walther PPK. Some even believe that behind-the-scenes conversations may already be in motion to radically reinvent the British super-spy for a global audience.
