Mara Wilson mourns the loss of her childhood friend, Michelle Trachtenberg. in a new essay for ‘New York’ magazine’s ‘Vulture,’ describing the late actress as ‘remarkably intelligent,’ ‘self-possessed’ and surprisingly kind, even after the success of ‘Harriet the Spy.’ The two ran in the same child-star circles in the 1990s and eventually went to the same middle school. Michelle was found dead inside her New York City apartment on Feb. 26. Her death was ruled ‘undetermined’ after her parents rejected an autopsy.
