The timeless tale of Dracula is set to rise once more, this time with a fresh, modern spin and an all-star cast. Keanu Reeves, returning to the vampire genre nearly three decades after his role in Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992), is slated to play the titular Count. Joining him is horror sensation Jenna Ortega (Wednesday, Scream VI), taking on the role of Mina Harker in this highly anticipated reimagining.
Dracula promises to be both a tribute to Bram Stoker’s original novel and a bold reimagining for modern audiences. Del Toro has teased a darker, more psychological approach to the tale, exploring themes of immortality, desire, and the cost of power.
