On ‘Sister Wives,’ Christine shares why she thinks Robyn, Kody’s now only remaining wife, planted the idea of Meri and Kody divorcing years ago. In a side interview, Christine claims when Robyn entered the family as Kody’s fourth wife, she talked about ‘other families’ where the ‘first wife divorced the husband so he could marry the second wife legally and legally adopt the kids.’ Christine added, ‘And I remember thinking, yeah, that’s a plant." Meri and Kody married in 1990 and divorced in 2014. However, Christine acknowledges Meri would say that the decision to legally end their marriage was all hers. ‘Sister Wives’ airs Sundays on TLC.
