Princess Birgitta of Sweden has died. She was 87. The country’s royal family announced her death in a tribute on Instagram. Birgitta’s brother, King Carl XVI Gustaf, wrote, ‘My sister was a colourful and straightforward person who will be deeply missed by me and my family.’
