John Oliver speaks with ET backstage at the 76th Annual Emmy Awards, which aired live on Sunday, Sept. 15 on ABC. John’s show, ‘Last Week Tonight,’ took home two Emmy trophies for Outstanding Scripted Variety Series and Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series. The late night host says winning never gets old and he’s enjoying a high-end date night with his wife. He also jokes that his kids aren’t allowed to touch his Emmys because they’ll use them as weapons.
