A source tells ET, Jennifer Lopez filed divorce papers on Aug. 20 for a ‘symbolic’ reason: it was the two-year anniversary of her and Ben Affleck’s nuptials in Georgia. Our source says it was Jennifer’s way of ‘closing this chapter,’ adding, ‘The last few months have been a roller-coaster of emotions, but she is taking the steps she needs in order to take care of herself.’
