Fans of ‘Veep’ and ‘The Simpsons’ are pointing out the coincidence of the shows possibly predicting Kamala Harris’ 2024 Presidential run. In the episode from 2000, Lisa Simpson wears a purple suit as she becomes President almost identical to the one worn by Kamala during the 2021 inauguration. Then in season 2 of ‘Veep,’ Vice President Selina Meyer, played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, finds out the President is stepping down, which similarly mirrors how President Joe Biden is dropping out of the race and is throwing his support behind Kamala.
