Erik and Lyle Menendez’ family speak out after L.A. District Attorney George Gascón said they should be resentenced for the 1989 murders of their parents, Jose and Kitty Menendez. Anna Maria Baralt, Jose’s niece, and Joan Vandermolen, Kitty’s sister, both share that they are ‘grateful’ the D.A. is taking ‘brave steps’ in recommending the resentencing of the brothers after being in prison for nearly 35 years.
