Ethel Kennedy, widow of Robert F. Kennedy, has died. She was 96. Her grandson, former Massachusetts Rep. Joe Kennedy III, confirmed her death in a tribute on social media. He wrote in part, ‘She was a devout Catholic and a daily communicant, and we are comforted in knowing she is reunited with the love of her life, our father, Robert F. Kennedy.’ Ethel and RFK were parents to 11 children.
