Kris Kristofferson has died, his family confirming the news to ET in a statement, revealing he died ‘peacefully’ on Saturday, Sept. 28. He was 88 years old. Kris was known for his mark in the country music world, from his solo projects to his work with The Highwaymen, a super group consisting of him, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. He also had an extensive career in film with his breakthrough role in 1976’s ‘A Star Is Born.’
