Disney execs announced the show’s return with a statement, reading in part, ‘We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return to the show on Tuesday.’ This comes after hundreds of stars expressed outrage over Kimmel’s censoring, even signing petitions against the network.
