Sabrina Impacciatore recalls Steve Carell and John Krasinski crashing ‘The Paper’ set! The Italian actress opens up to ET’s Deidre Behar all about the new Peacock series, which is a spinoff of ‘The Office.’ The actress tells the story of Steve and John surprising the cast on the first day on set, wishing them well and lots of luck. Plus, Sabrina reveals she flew to New York to meet Steve while he was performing on Broadway, to get his blessing before accepting the part on the show. Although she admits she’d never seen ‘The Office,’ she’s since binged the entire series and names her favorite characters. Sabrina details her ‘nasty, bossy and manipulative’ character, Esmeralda, and praises co-star Domhnall Gleeson for being such a joy to work with — even when she’s giving him hell on screen! ‘The Paper’s entire first season starts streaming Sept. 4 on Peacock.
