Robert De Niro will be back as retired CIA agent Jack Byrnes in a follow-up to 2000’s ‘Meet the Parents,’ co-starring Ariana Grande as the fiancée of Jack’s grandson, the son of Pam Byrnes (Terri Polo) and Jack’s son-in-law, Gaylord ‘Greg’ Focker (Ben Stiller), set for release in 2026. In the meantime, De Niro is focused on the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival, running June 4-15 in New York City. The actor and his producing partner, Jane Rosenthal, sit down with ET’s Rachel Smith to preview everything to expect from this year’s event, including Billy Joel’s documentary.
